Radiation exposure dose from CBCT during dental usage is 10 times less than from conventional CT scans. In fact, it has been proven to use even less radiation than cavity detecting x-rays. Furthermore, CBCT is highly accurate and can provide, three-dimensional volumetric data in axial, sagittal and coronal planes.
